On Thursday, I (Morgan) drove to Monticello with my Aunt Vicki. We met my mom, dad, grandma peck and grandpa Peck. All of them had been living in a motel for nearly a week. Three times a day they would drive to Dove Creek Colorado and get treatments from Bruce, who specializes in Bioelectrical Therapy. I know Jade went and experienced it last week and this week was my turn and let me just say... It was CRAZY! It is really hard to explain but I will do my best.
First of all you and Bruce are both connected to electrical currents. He uses Reflexology, A system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, along with the electric currents to find areas on the body that are not acting properly. He feels these areas on your feet to find things that are wrong in the body. The currents will shock him if there is an abnormality. Once he finds the problem, he uses the meridians in the body to help treat that area. The little shocks help the body to heal itself from the problem. For my mom her treatments are 3 times a day for 20 minutes a time. He holds his hand over each side of her liver for 5 minutes each. Whether this cures her or not, she is finally able to breath adequately and sleep through the night. Our whole family that was there got treatments everyday (but only once). I had a very bad cold and after a day, I was feeling much better. This stuff really works and I had the opportunity to stand in his position and feel what it is like to perform the treatment. It is very odd but if any of this doesn't make sense then google it ha. When Saturday finally came, mom was very anxious to go home and sleep in her own bed.
One major thing that we'll be attempting to change is the diet in the family. We all need to eat better. Lots of fruits and veggies, (green drinks), little dairy, NO sweets and a lot less meats. When I say we, I mean mom but the rest of the family needs to change our ways of eating also. I think dad is dreading to too. It will be quite the challenge. Mom is going to give herself a good month of eating right and detoxifying her body before even considering surgery. (I don't think she wants to do surgery at all). So as of right now, the surgery is off unless said otherwise.
