Schedule for Surgery

  Today we went to the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake to meet with the surgeon, Dr. Kim.  We discussed the proceedure for surgery and all of the protocols that go along with it.  We felt good about Dr. Kim and so we scheduled the surgery for Thursday, October 27th.

  Just before leaving the center, mom had to go get a CT scan. While in the waiting room me, (Morgan) and dad noticed a ton of un-hung picture frames leaning against the walls. Dad asked a woman in the group what all of the frames were for. She said they were decorating the brand new wing of the Huntsman Center.  Her name is Gayle and she is longtime friends with Karen Huntsman.  As Karen walked by, Gayle introduced us to her. We thanked her for all of the many things her and her family have done to provide proper medical attention, not to mention a comfortable facility, for thousands of suffering people. My mom joined us when she was done with her CT Scan and Karen Huntsman gave mom the biggest hug. No one could even believe that mom had anything wrong with her because she looks so healthy and beautiful. They were so sweet to us and you can tell they were so genuine with their concern and affection. There are so many people out there whom, even if they don't know you, really do wish the best for you. We are so blessed to be surrounded with great people we know who are the same way!
